Jihyun Oh was born in Seoul, Korea. She attended the Academy of Art University in SanFrancisco where she studied Illustration and Fine Art. She received her MFA in Figurative Painting in 2012.
After Graduation, she had her solo show titled “Break Time” in San Francisco. Her paintings have been selected by OPA (Oil Painters of America), NOAPS (National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society) and have been exhibited. Currently, she focuses on portraits and small landscapes developing her skill.
She tries to capture natural life moments and discover the beauty in nature by applying an appropriate color scheme and controlling the brushwork. She wants to describe peaceful and beautiful moments.
